Medik8 is built on their CSA Philosophy. This CSA method is becoming more and more mainstream by the day and we couldn't be happier. Just use a vitamin C plus Sunscreen by day, Vitamin A by night. That's it.

C - Vitamin C

Well formulated, stabilised vitamin C provides all-important antioxidant protection as well as stimulating collagen production and blocking the development of pigment for smoother and brighter skin. Apply vitamin C in the morning for an all-day urban shield against everyday environmental factors which can cause skin ageing.

S - Sunscreen

It is estimated that 80% of skin ageing is caused by the sun. Sadly, skin damage caused by the sun doesn’t only happen when it’s sunny. If it is light out, it means the sun’s rays can still reach you. Even on a cloudy day, you will still get approximately 50% of UV reaching your skin. Wearing high-strength sun protection every day is fundamental for a youthful complexion. With its importance in mind, Medik8 have a range of beautifully light but powerful sunscreens that protect and nourish the skin. Don’t worry, our high-tech Medik8 sunscreens do not feel sticky and greasy like those used at the beach. More likely, you'll probably not even realise your sumptuous day cream contains sunscreen.

A - Vitamin A

As the Experts in Vitamin A (aka retinol), Medik8 has developed a wide range of night creams and serums to rejuvenate skin while you sleep. Vitamin A is quite simply the most important ingredient in anti-ageing skincare. It has a wealth of skin benefits including speeding up cellular renewal and reducing sebum production. It is crucial that Vitamin A is stabilised and has some form of controlled-release to ensure maximum potency with minimal irritation.

Anti-ageing skincare doesn’t need to be complicated - in fact, it shouldn’t be. Following our simple CSA philosophy will help improve the tone and texture of your skin; leaving it healthy and youthful-looking.

ECO FRIENDLY

Veganism has gathered pace over the last decade. It's not about being 'trendy' but about saving precious resources and finding alternatives that love and respect the animal world we live in. Did you know every product manufactured by Medik8 is now 100% vegan-friendly?

As a brand rooted in science and nature, we love and respect sea life. That’s why we are 100% microbead-free and have been for years. Instead of using plastic beads which are damaging to marine life, we only use natural exfoliators such as jojoba beads found in Pore Refining Scrub™ and bamboo micro-exfoliators as found in Brightening Powder Cleanse™.

In 2018 we removed all plastic inserts from our cartons and replaced them with 100% recycled card, making our cartons completely recyclable. This saves over 3 tonnes of plastic every year. We are working on using ocean-derived plastic bottles in our professional range in the near future.

When it comes to paper-based materials, not only are we recyclable, we are MADE of mostly recycled materials. Medik8 use FSC certified card for all of our cartons, which means it has been sourced from well-managed forests or recycled sources. You will see the FSC symbol on all of our packaging as a mark of dedication to the cause. We try to minimise paper waste in our cartons to be as eco-friendly as possible.

Medik8 do not test on animals. We will not ask any other company to test on our behalf. We take the matter of checking our supplier compliance very seriously as an integral part of our product development process. We look forward to the day when animal testing is banned worldwide forever.

Millions of acres of palm forest, their habitats and wildlife have been devastated by our need for this precious ingredient used across so many industries, including skincare. At Medik8, we have carried out a huge audit of all of our ingredients to ensure we are 100% pure palm oil-free.
