Over 12 years ago Mark & Kira Walton, the husband and wife co-founders behind VOYA Organic Beauty decided to trade in their hectic corporate careers for the quieter, slower pace of the West Coast of Ireland. Mark naturally joined the family business. This business happened to be a traditional seaweed bathing house which was established by Mark’s brother Neil Walton, in Strandhill village in 2000.
As the popularity of the baths grew and grew, the Walton family found more customers asking if there was some way they could replicate the soothing effects of a VOYA spa experience at home. In 2006,  Mark and Kira Walton launched a retail seaweed bath which then led to further skincare and body care lines, evolving into range that now includes over 50 products, from advanced organic facial products for specific skin concerns to home fragrances; giving clients the power to emulate a full spa experience at home. VOYA was one of the first companies to produce certified organic seaweed cosmetics for over a decade.
The brand has grown from strength to strength, through economic turbulent climates over the last 12 years with Mark and Kira at its core. The duo have brought wellness into the workplace with yoga and meditation classes for their employees.
